Pet Partners presents…
Read to a Dog!
Trained and certified service and therapy dogs and their owners visit the Oro Valley Public Library twice a month. These gentle dogs listen intently and non judgmentally as children learn to read and expand their reading skills. This program is designed to encourage reluctant readers and newly emergent readers to develop necessary literacy skills. Read to A Dog meets the first Tuesday and Fourth Thursday of the month in the Library Program Room.
